Global carmakers at the ongoing 21st Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition are setting their sights on China’s burgeoning new energy vehicle (NEV) market. The exhibition, also known as the Guangzhou Auto Show, is being held in Guangzhou City of south China’s Guangdong Province, from November 17 to 26.
A total of 1,132 vehicles are on display, including 59 global debuts, 20 concept cars, and 469 NEVs. The NEV sector is also expected to benefit from improved China-U.S. ties.
